-Ed Tech Central: This blog shares helpful and applicable technology tips for anyone. The tips provided range in topic, and are easy to understand. I liked this blog because it was "neat" and "clean." Sometimes all the information can get overwhelming, but on this blog, you see the blog post titles only. If it is not a topic you are interested in, you don't have to read it.
-Simple Ed Tech: When looking over this site, it seemed like Simple Ed Tech was some sort of educational company and the blog is actually called "I Heart Ed Tech." On the blog, there are entries on various topics; using Google, iPads, posts about education in general, opportunities for professional development, etc. There is a plethora of information. One thing I plan to look more into is the professional development aspect. It sounded like these are webinars, many of which are free.
-Ed Tech Ideas: This is another great blog that shares technology resources for teachers. The resources are timely and relevant and include links to other blogs of interest. It provides screen shots and examples of the resources which helps give you a better visual to decide if that resource would work for you or not.
-Ed Tech Tips and Tricks: This blog belongs to a teacher in DePere, Wisconsin. It is similar to some of the other blogs included on my list. I like it because it gives information on the topic, but also includes bulleted lists of highlights; so again, it's not too overwhelming with words and information. She includes tutorial videos for some of the resources shared. She also includes a page on website resources, which is organized very well.
-Stump the Teacher: A sixth grade Language Arts and social science teacher from Illinois keeps this blog up. I enjoyed this blog because the author has a great writer's voice and his posts caught my attention, he offers a different perspective because of the subjects he teach. He shares his resources and ideas and gives a little story along with it. He has a link to video tutorials for various tools he uses.
-Justin Cowen's Posterous: I met Justin at a "21st Century Assessment" class that I took last year. At the time, he taught middle school computers, similar to me and I used his blog to get ideas for my own classroom. I enjoy reading it because he shares his classroom experiences with different tools used and also gives student samples.
-Free Tech for Teachers: More great technology resources (runs a bit slow on my computer).
-Cool Cat Teacher: Technology news, resources, and teaching ideas, including Flat Stanley.
